Chris Hutton, Lead Pastor

Chris really enjoys three things: coffee, quoting films, and of course, Jesus!  If you don’t find him engaging people in deep conversations about faith and spirituality, you’ll see him looking for new ways to connect people in community and new ways to share how Jesus can change people’s lives.

Over 20 years of pastoral experience, Chris has ministered to university students, planted churches in the nation’s capital, ministered to farmers in rural Ontario, and taken youth on oh so many trips to Niagara Falls.

Chris is our primary communicator on Sunday mornings; he is always available for a visit and a chat; and he coaches leaders in how to effectively do everything that God calls us to do.

David Hrynyk, Children and Youth Ministry Leader

David joined NLUMC staff in September of 2022. He is passionate about following Jesus and teaching the next generation. In his spare time you will find him playing music, reading, or watching movies (particularly ones with superheroes or aliens!)

Susan Klassen, Church Secretary

When you call or visit the church on weekdays, you’ll find Susan in the office tending to the daily secretarial details as she has since 2005. Susan, a life-long resident of Essex County, is an active participant at North Leamington. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
